After 9 long months of analyzing all environmental aspects of our company, CR Laine became the very first company to achieve the American Home Furnishing Alliance’s rigorous 5 step Sustainable by Design program on October 1, 2008.Although several businesses may see this process as a large undertaking and expense, we have found the outcome to be quite the opposite. Polystone Moulding

Click to view slideshow.Moulded from real Florida limestone complete with fossil imprints, the closed cell construction is waterproof and can be used inside and out. Held in place with a Liquid Nails-type adhesive, or screwed into place, Polystone is then grouted using a mixture of latex paint and sand that is easily applied with a caulking tube. It can be resprayed with latex paint and cut with a handsaw.

The product is coated in a washable latex paint which makes cleaning easy with mild soap and a soft brush. The grout material used in the joints between the product is a latex paint mixed with sand which can be applied with a standard caulking gun. If the product is damaged in any way, it may be resprayed with a matching latex paint. The product is very easily installed with a construction adhesive, mechanical fasteners (nails, screws,etc…), and a simple hand saw. It can easily transform a room without having to hire a mason.

SeaCloth was born from the combined talents and shared vision of two entrepreneurial women, Susan Harris and Deirdre Halper. Susan, an accomplished fine artist, became convinced that art should not be confined to a frame. Testing her theory she tried her hand at textile design. Deirdre, a former marketing executive, met Susan and after seeing her work, immediately envisioned not only textiles, but an entire lifestyle brand. The complementary skills of the two set SeaCloth into motion. In 2003, SeaCloth launched four initial collections – Gypsy Palette, Watermark, Sun Splash and Beach Party – in design showrooms including John Rosselli & Associates in New York City and Washington, D.C., and Ainsworth Noah in Atlanta. By early 2004, the first SeaCloth retail store opened in Greenwich, Connecticut, showcasing the company’s textiles and comprehensive line of home furnishings and decorative accessories. Kravet Soleil [Sunbrella]

Fade Resistant * Mildew Resistant * Weather Resistant
These fabrics have been designed for indoor/outdoor use. Sunbrella fabrics are UV resistant and water repellant and will resist fading for 2200 light hours in direct sun. Sunbrella does not promote mildew growth. However, mildew may grow on dirt and other foreign substances that are not removed from the fabric by frequent vacuuming or light brushing with a non-metallic bristled brush.
Most dirt and stains can be spot cleaned using a soft bristled brush and a solution of mild soap and warm water.
For stubborn stains, add four ounces of liquid bleach to one gallon warm water and clean with a soft bristled brush. Always rinse thoroughly and air dry.
For removable covers, machine wash in cold water with a mild soap and air dry. If machine drying is preferred, use a no-heat setting.

Kravet Fabrics

Cleaning Code “W”. Clean this fabric with the foam only of a water-based cleaning agent to remove overall soil. Many household cleaning solvents are harmful to the colour and life of a fabric.

Cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended. To prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust and grime is recommended.

Cleaning Code “S”. Clean this fabric with pure solvents [petroleum distillate-based products in a well-ventilated room. Cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended.

CAUTION: use of water-based or detergent-based solvent cleaners may cause excessive shrinking. Water stains may become permanent and unable to be removed with solvent cleaning agents. To prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust and grime is recommended.

Cleaning Code “S – W”. Clean this fabric with the foam only of a water-based cleaning agent or with a pure solvent in a well-ventilated room. Cleaning by a professional furniture cleaning service only is recommended. To prevent overall soil, frequent vacuuming or light brushing to remove dust and grime is suggested.

Cleaning Code “X”. Clean this fabric only by vacuuming or light brushing to prevent accumulation of dust and grime. Water-based cleaning agents of any kind may cause excessive shrinking or fading.
